Job summary
A leading company in Singapore seeks an engineer to enhance manufacturing processes for SAW and BAW filters. The role involves developing methods, supporting production planning, and collaborating with teams to optimize operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability.

- Develop and improve methods, time standards, and production line layouts.
- Support implementation of factory planning models and tools.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to achieve operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Apply engineering knowledge to develop, implement, and improve methods, time standards, capacity planning, sequence of operation, data analysis, and production line layouts in SAW and BAW filter manufacturing for front-end and back-end operations.
- Support the implementation of standard factory planning models, methods, and tools.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of techniques used.
- Contribute to the effective use of production facilities, equipment layout, workflow, space utilization, production layout, office layout, plant expansion, and relocation activities.
- Participate in Global Equipment Strategy (GES) equipment assessment and review, evaluating complex equipment, tools, and fixtures, and contributing to their evaluation and assessment.
- Contribute to the Global Manufacturing Strategy (GMS) by reviewing technology and site selection strategies, and supporting business continuity planning, decision-making, and execution.
- Assist in executing capacity ramp-up/downs and production site transfers aligned with business needs and strategic long-term goals.
- Support capital projects through job sampling, cost justification, and cost/benefit analysis.
- Track capital expenditures across the plant to ensure spending stays within budget.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to achieve operational excellence, focusing on productivity, OEE, and profitability, and monitor performance against project timelines and goals.
- Apply time standards and capacity modeling knowledge to create models forecasting production output and resource requirements, and analyze design simulations.
