Assistant Manager, Strategy & Partnership Development
Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive giving and partnership strategies aligned with the organization's goals and mission.
  • Identify, solicit, and steward major gifts, grants, and sponsorships from individuals, foundations, corporations, and government entities.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, foundations, corporate partners, community organizations, and other relevant entities.
  • Lead or support fundraising campaigns, donor appreciation campaigns, including annual giving, annual campaigns, and special projects.
  • Research and write compelling grant proposals and reports to secure funding from foundations and government agencies.
  • Maintain a robust donor stewardship program, including regular communication, recognition, and engagement activities.
  • Work closely with the Advocacy and Strategic Communications and Finance teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of advancement and partnership initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends, identify new opportunities for growth, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Serve as the organisation Volunteer Manager to oversee and develop the volunteer framework and coordinate with external volunteering partners.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of proven track record experience in fundraising, partnership development, or a related field.
  • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Possess strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Possess strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Innovative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
