Our client is a global provider of sustainable energy, water, and urban development solutions, focusing on innovation and environmental responsibility across diverse markets. They are seeking a Head of Operational Excellence to serve as a key leader within their Group Center of Excellence (GCOE).

This role will drive technical and operational excellence across their global renewable energy portfolio, overseeing solar, wind, and energy storage assets throughout their entire lifecycle. With responsibility spanning multiple regions including Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, this role ensures consistency, governance, and excellence across all markets and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of renewable technology strategies aligned with business objectives across Solar, Wind, and Energy Storage assets
• Provide expert domain knowledge to guide decision-making throughout asset lifecycles from bid development to operations
• Develop and maintain group-wide policies, standards, and governance frameworks for renewable technologies across multiple regions
• Ensure comprehensive adherence to safety protocols, environmental standards, and regulatory requirements in all markets
• Design and implement processes to optimize asset performance and maximize investment returns
• Deliver technical advisory support to business units and market teams for project development and operations
• Build and lead high-performing technical teams across international markets and foster cross-regional collaboration
• Spearhead talent development initiatives including specialized training programs and knowledge-sharing platforms
• Establish performance indicators for renewable assets and oversee improvement initiatives with regular assessment protocols
• Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure successful project execution and operational excellence

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with 15+ years of experience in renewable energy technologies (Solar, Wind, and/or Energy Storage)
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale renewable projects across multiple international markets
• Comprehensive understanding of renewable asset lifecycles from bidding through operations and maintenance
• Experience developing and implementing technical standards and governance frameworks across diverse operations
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing technical teams across cultural and geographic boundaries
• Strong strategic vision with the analytical capabilities to optimize asset performance and drive innovation
