Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our finance team. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and local tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts, including bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance
• Perform year-end closings, reconciliations, and reporting
• Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with SFRS
• Ensure compliance with IRAS regulations for GST filing, corporate income tax and other statutory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors , tax agents , and ACRA for annual filings and audits
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and perform regular reviews
• Support process improvement initiatives to strengthen internal controls
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations where required

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Chartered Accountant (Singapore) certification or pursuing it is preferred
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience in Singapore
• Strong knowledge of SFRS , GST , and local compliance requirements
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Attributes

• Familiarity with IRAS/ACRA submissions
• Experience in multi-currency accounting
• Knowledge of CPF and payroll accounting is a plus
