Job description

Summary:

  • MNC
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 6.00pm
  • Salary: UP$4000-$6000
  • Benefits: AWS + VB
  • Location: Kallang

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of service and callback technicians in the daily operations of lifts and escalators.
  • Ensure the productivity of each technician.
  • Monitor callback trends and implement actions to reduce callbacks.
  • Eliminate Rebel and critical units if any.
  • Ensure technicians attend to callbacks promptly within the stipulated response time.
  • Maintain equipment availability to meet KPIs.
  • Ensure equipment downtime is within permitted repair times.
  • Ensure servicing schedules are followed without missed services.
  • Attend site meetings and callback meetings, ensuring follow-up works are completed timely.
  • Verify inventory and prepare purchase requisitions and sales orders via JDE system.
  • Extract callback data for monthly report analysis using Service Management System (SMS).
  • Update order tracker based on monthly forecasts and perform goods receiving upon delivery and job completion.
  • Gather site findings and submit via Field Turn Back (FTB) for defective components.
  • Record technician’s tools and equipment calibration expiry dates monthly.
  • Prepare and issue PPE, tools, and equipment to technicians as needed.
  • Provide field and administrative support to the service & operations teams.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering discipline.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Service Engineer preferred.
  • Experience in the lift/escalator industry is advantageous.
