Responsibilities
  • Perform general Quantity Surveyor/Contracts duties such as quantity take-off, preparation of costing, and contract administration
  • Be responsible for pre- and post-contract QS services
  • Assist in project tenders
  • Handle progress interim payments, claims applications, and variation orders
  • Manage claims to a minimum
  • Assist project managers in procurement and sub-contracting matters
  • Negotiate and agree on the valuation of construction, variations, and final accounts
  • Resolve disputes, assess entitlement for extensions of time, and handle loss/expense claims
  • Handle contract administration and settlement of final accounts with clients and subcontractors
Pre-requisites
  • Degree holder with at least 2 years of working experience
