An established educational institution seeks a detail-oriented Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager to join their University-Wide Modules team. This role involves managing operations of university-level modules, advising students, and coordinating events. The Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager will be part of the University-Wide Modules team under the Academic Programmes Administration Division. He/She will provide administrative support in the areas listed below.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage the operations of university-level modules.
Manage module’s general email account.
Track the progress and completion rate of university-level modules.
Administer and coordinate timetabling / scheduling of classes, as well as assist in booking of facilities.
Advise students on matters such as module registration.
Organise and manage events such as talks, workshops and meetings.
Assist in collation and submission of results, and preparation of reports.
Administer procurement processes.
Provide administrative and secretariat support for meetings including minutes-writing.
Work closely with counterparts across all programmes.
Research and analyse various module performance indicators to support the roll-out and operational effectiveness of modules.
Review and improve work processes.
Other university-wide modules' support assignments as required by the Module Leads, Director of Programme, Programme Leader, or Director, Academic Programmes Administration.
Requirements:
A Degree from a recognised Institute of Higher Learning.
Preferably with experience in a similar position/education environment.
Meticulous with a keen eye for details and analytical in information gathering and resource support.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
Familiarity with automation tools, Systems Thinking, Lean Transformation models and knowledge in Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI would be an advantage.
Good written and communication skills.
Able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
A highly motivated individual and a good team player.
