Job description

What the role is:

You will delve into technical solutions and collaborate with operational users to acquire datasets and models for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).

What you will be working on:

1. Develop AI/ML products for the SAF.
2. Identify, initiate, and promote worthwhile engineering projects across the SAF.
3. Work with operational users to acquire and utilize relevant datasets and models.
4. Ensure the beneficial deployment of AI/ML tools within the SAF.
5. Maintain an in-depth understanding of AI/ML and languages like Python.
6. Apply experience with complex data structures and algorithms.
7. Stay updated with rapidly evolving AI/ML technologies.
8. Ensure a deep understanding of AI/ML applications and their impact in military contexts.

What we are looking for:

• Education in quantitative, scientific, and technological fields such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, and Analytics.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML (supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, deep learning).
• Hands-on experience with current AI tools like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under stressful environments.
