BUSINESS DRIVER
Drive the store sales performance by analysing sell-through data, devising, and implementing appropriate action plans to achieve results.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within the office, such as Visual Merchandising, CRM, Merchandising, and Marketing, to enhance brand performance.
Evaluate individual sales performance of team members and provide coaching to improve efficiency.
Create development plans for the store team to ensure a strong development pipeline.
Present business reports during meetings.
Empower department leads to take ownership of their categories, providing leadership guidance.
Participate in buying sessions when required and provide effective product feedback based on store needs.
CLIENT DEVELOPMENT
Encourage the team to manage their client relationships effectively, achieving appointment targets.
Foster an environment of curiosity, promoting client discovery and nurturing.
Coordinate with the Retail Events Office to organize local events and set realistic client targets.
Partner with Sales Associates to host clients.
TEAM PREPAREDNESS
Ensure the team is well-informed about product knowledge, local market insights, competitors, policies, and procedures.
Work with the Learning and Development lead to provide on-the-job coaching, enhancing skills and knowledge. Ensure completion of L&D modules on digital platforms.
RETAIL OPERATIONS
Champion retail operational excellence by enforcing company procedures on cash handling, inventory, logistics, and reporting activities.
Minimize deviations from operational thresholds, such as shrinkage and transfer efficiency, ensuring compliance.
Ensure timely replenishment of stationery supplies.
Maintain attractive displays that maximize sales and adhere to company guidelines, ensuring synergy between front and back of house.
Act as liaison between the company and the mall landlord.
[REQUIRED COMPETENCIES]
At least 6 years of proven retail management experience with a successful track record in driving boutique sales.
Strong leadership and team management skills, capable of managing diverse personalities and competencies.
Solid business acumen with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
Knowledge of the local market and competitors.
