To support in strategic leadership and all activities within the GCCO office and partner with various teams across the GCCO organization in driving the overall GCCO team vision.

Make an Impact by

Assist GCCO in managing the Group business activities. The candidate needs to be able to engage with the various Division leads, understand and influence their business strategies where applicable, and appreciate the aggregate impact/implications on the GCCO business.

The candidate will work closely with the GCCO, including providing advice on the business strategy, engaging the Division leads in reviewing as well as providing corrective advice in the business trajectories.

The candidate provides secretarial support to the GCCO Weekly Ops meeting, as well as monthly reviews.

In particular, the candidate will drive the GCCO’s AOP process:

  • Consolidate the various divisions’ AOPs, manage the annual GCCO budget exercise and produce the GCCO AOP deck (including logistics support for GCCO’s AOP preparation and managing the AOP schedule of GCCO and direct reports).
  • Support in managing the content (including monitoring material submissions, conducting first cut sanity check on the materials including verifying last FY’s targets against this FY’s achievements, and ensuring timely submission of materials for GCCO’s review).

Plan and track GCCO office staff engagement budget.

Lead executive communication, presentations, and engagement events in consultation with Division leads:

  • Coordinate and define key messages and overall communication plan for different forums (townhalls, overall strategy cascade, Senior Leaders sharing engagements, etc).
  • Develop presentations for GCCO for the various forums.
  • Lead and plan logistics/agenda for GCCO townhalls.
  • Plan for newsletter content.

Work with the GCCO communications team on staff engagement initiatives for both Singtel and Optus and manage within budget.

Skills for Success

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • At least 6 years of events management and project management experience.
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Events management skills.
  • Desire and flexibility to learn and grow in an ever-changing environment.
  • Able to withstand stress and excel in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
