Who We Need

The CSSD Assistant is responsible for processing and packing surgical supplies as required by Clinical Units and Wards.

Your key responsibilities are:

• To ensure proper handling, sorting, cleaning and decontamination of soiled articles returned to CSSD.

• To ensure all cleaned instruments are properly checked before packing.

• To comply with the policies and procedures in preparing surgical instruments for sterilization and in the decontamination process.

• To assist in the follow-up and safe-keeping of records.

• To demonstrate effective and efficient practice in infection control.

How to Succeed

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare industry.

• To perform shift duties including weekends and public holidays.

• Exhibits a good sense of responsibility and commitment towards the job and hospital.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
