A leading company in Singapore seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a machining/assembly team. The role involves motivating staff, ensuring operational excellence, and managing compliance. Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
Motivate and guide the machining/assembly team to meet production targets and customer demands.
Drive talent development through hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
Recognize employee contributions and maintain a positive, disciplined work environment.
Operational Excellence
Ensure efficient daily production, capacity planning, and machine optimization.
Lead Lean/Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Maintain 6S standards for a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with other teams to resolve workflow issues and ensure smooth operations.
Update ERP (Syteline) accurately and manage key metrics (OEE, TPM, delivery performance).
Employee & Compliance Management
Handle attendance, overtime, performance reviews, and disciplinary matters fairly.
Conduct team meetings and address grievances promptly.
Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement productivity enhancements while minimizing waste.
Foster teamwork and clear communication across departments.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Min 4 years of production/operations experience in manufacturing.
Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role leading a team.
Prior experience in CNC machining/programming is a plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented, able to multitask, and work under tight deadlines.
