We are looking for a Design Lead / Design Manager to play a crucial role in delivering exceptional design solutions for our diverse range of commercial projects. You will work more independently, manage multiple projects, and lead design efforts with a focus on translating creative concepts into functional, beautiful spaces.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide creative direction, guidance, and mentorship to the design team, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality design output.
• Work closely with Senior interior Designers to contribute to the overall design strategy, project planning, and the development of innovative design concepts.
• Lead the development of design concepts, ensuring all level interior designers are aligned with client briefs, project goals, and brand standards including translating initial ideas into compelling presentations and design narratives.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating design concepts, rationale and solutions.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of design standards, best practices, and workflows to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
• Regularly review and critique the work of the design team, providing constructive feedback to elevate design quality and ensure adherence to project objectives.
• Work closely with BD managers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team output.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation.
• Work with Senior Designers and project management team to contribute to resource allocation and project timelines for the design team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
• At least 5 years and above of relevant work experience in interior design
• Strong portfolio or track record on showcasing leadership in design projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup/Revit/3DsMAX/Photoshop.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles and front-end development is a plus
