[What the role is]

You will drive excellence in planning and operations, policy development, compliance, governance, and system enhancements within the procurement function. You will manage stakeholders, including procurement practitioners and management, to build procurement awareness and achieve high performance in controls and efficiency.

[What you will be working on]

  • Develop procurement strategies to achieve cost-effective results
  • Continuously review and improve policies, processes, and systems to enhance governance, results, and operational efficiencies in procurement
  • Deep dive into spend analytics to identify efficiency opportunities
  • Enhance procurement literacy and maintain procurement competencies of officers conducting procurement in CAAS

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience in government procurement is advantageous
  • Keen interest in governance, processes, systems, analytics, and policy development
  • Strong thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Independent, proactive, persuasive, impactful, and resourceful
  • Able to focus on priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment

Note: Your appointment designation will be commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract initially and may be considered for permanent placement or contract renewal.
