What the day will look like

Stakeholder Management

  • Develop trusted relationships with leaders and colleagues across your area of responsibility
  • Create a cohesive and effective partnership with aligned People functional leaders and centre of excellence teams to ensure excellent service delivery for colleagues
  • Balance best practice with commercial acumen to provide guidance and support to the business on people/talent related matters
  • Maintain awareness of the talent pipeline for key roles and support culture change and engagement initiatives

Project Management

  • Develop a broad understanding of all People solutions and responsible for execution of people initiatives aligned with the business, including but not limited to:
  • Leadership capabilities development
  • Performance & Reward Management
  • Talent Review, HiPo development / retention & Strategic resource planning
  • Engagement Analysis and Planning
  • Large scale organization transformation & M&A integration activities
  • Champion our Inclusion and Diversity agenda
  • Colleague Wellness
  • Accountable for supporting/delivering M&A integration activities

Collaborate With COEs

  • Act as a champion for the comprehensive suite of people solutions and collaborate with key points of contact within COEs to define requirements & provide feedback
  • Support the delivery of talent, culture, change and leadership development programs
  • Participate in senior leadership/executive level role recruiting for the region comprising key regional and/or country leadership roles
  • Provide feedback about effectiveness of policies, programs, and processes

Collaborate With People Operations & Service Delivery

  • Partnering with Service Delivery team to deliver business outcome.
  • Act as a champion to advocate consistent operational efficiency.
  • Act in partnership for more complex ER issues and/or lead investigations on a situational basis, upon request of regional PO leadership

How this opportunity is different

The People Partner role will support the Lead People Partners in the execution of global and regional people strategies within the Asia Pacific region. This is an enabling role for the execution of the strategic people plan for Sub-regions, Solution Lines and ABS and Functions with the goal of creating a consistent colleague experience across the region and within Aon. Models a “one-firm” mindset at all times.

  • Able to consult to the entire People Org Service Delivery Model with an integrated, regional perspective
  • Able to build effective relationships at multiple levels of the organization, and to consult, influence and partner with leaders in developing/executing people strategies to drive business performance
  • Ability to work in a complex environment ensuring that key stakeholders often with conflicting priorities are heard and supported
  • Creative and adept at problem solving, with an appreciation of diverse cultures and regions.
  • Able to consult on application of policy and process as well as trends, themes, and solutions
  • Possesses business and financial acumen
  • Encourages & participates in collaborative decision making and shares ownership of results
  • Effective communicator with a high level of self-confidence and credibility
