Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Wholesales/ Retail (Pet Shop)

  • Position Title: Accounts Assistant

  • Working Location: Ubi (Walk distance from MRT)

  • Working Hours: 5 Days, Mon (8:30am – 6pm), Tue – Fri (9am – 6pm)

  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable Bonus + Dental & Medical Benefits

  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices using Oracle software.

  • Handle both accounts payable and receivable to ensure prompt settlement of payments and collections.

  • Perform reconciliation of bank accounts and corporate credit cards to maintain financial accuracy.

  • Keep financial records and ledgers updated and organized.

  • Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis, preparing reports, and tracking budgets.

  • Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to address and resolve accounting-related issues.

  • Support audit processes and assist with ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Generate and manage Statements of Accounts for review.

  • Handle daily stock fulfilment tasks using the Warehouse Management System.
