An established industry player is seeking a skilled network operations professional to manage firewall-related changes and ensure compliance with security policies. In this role, you will coordinate activities within the data center, perform regular maintenance, and troubleshoot network issues across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and implement firewall-related change requests (CR), ensuring minimal disruption and compliance with internal security policies.
Coordinate and escort build/maintain engineers within the data center environment, ensuring all access and activities comply with safety and security protocols.
Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades, including service packs, patches, and security configurations.
Assist in troubleshooting network-related issues across multiple sites and escalate when necessary.
Monitor network performance and provide reports or recommendations for improvements.
Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, change requests, and incident reports.
Work closely with the IT and security teams to ensure network compliance and support audits as needed.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in network operations or IT infrastructure support
Working knowledge of firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet), switches, and routers
Familiarity with data center standards and operational procedures
Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) for CR tracking
Good communication and coordination skills
Willingness to be on-call or support after-hours maintenance activities
