Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement firewall-related change requests (CR), ensuring minimal disruption and compliance with internal security policies.

• Coordinate and escort build/maintain engineers within the data center environment, ensuring all access and activities comply with safety and security protocols.

• Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades, including service packs, patches, and security configurations.

• Assist in troubleshooting network-related issues across multiple sites and escalate when necessary.

• Monitor network performance and provide reports or recommendations for improvements.

• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, change requests, and incident reports.

• Work closely with the IT and security teams to ensure network compliance and support audits as needed.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 2–5 years of experience in network operations or IT infrastructure support

• Working knowledge of firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet), switches, and routers

• Familiarity with data center standards and operational procedures

• Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) for CR tracking

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Willingness to be on-call or support after-hours maintenance activities
