The Solutions Architect is a seasoned subject matter expert, primarily responsible for consulting with the client and working with internal teams to create strategies, transformational designs, and the architectural vision for complex solutions that address the clients’ needs.

This role provides multi-technology consulting services on all aspects of application software, infrastructure, and related technology components.

What you'll be doing

The Solutions Architect works closely with Enterprise Account Sales Managers and Specialist Security Sales. The role collaborates most closely with Specialist Sales, playing a crucial part in direct enterprise sales engagement with End User Clients in Singapore.

The role requires an organized, driven individual with demonstrable experience engaging with Senior IT Security Management, Client Security Architects, Security Operations personnel, and Security technology suppliers, including Sales and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

Primary duties include capturing and evaluating End User requirements, developing differentiated and profitable solutions, designs, and services to meet and exceed client expectations while fitting within budgets.

The Solutions Architect is experienced enough to work independently, extensively with Sales, Delivery, and external third parties, focusing on technical closure. A practical approach to optimizing solutions and designs to meet client deliverables profitably is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Key role in the Clients' Cybersecurity Go To Market (GTM) program, focusing on large, high-touch accounts in Singapore.
  • Engage rapidly with key Security Contacts within End User Accounts to establish credibility and nurture security relationships based on expertise and value.
  • Be part of NTT’s Cybersecurity Community of Practice (COP), gaining access to regional and global colleagues, security tools, IP, and support to facilitate client engagement and solution design.
  • Primary activities include Solution Design, Client Presentations, Proposal Preparation, RFP, and Tender Bid Responses.
  • Involved in technical controls selection, evaluation, and onboarding of new security technologies into client environments.
  • Participate in detailed evaluations, gap analyses, and support sales in business justification development.
  • Maintain a lifelong learning mindset, acquiring skills in adjacent domains like Hyperscalers, Hybrid Workspace, and OT/IOT.
  • Work closely with the Head of Solutions Architecture to achieve team objectives.
Educational Requirements

Graduate from a recognized tertiary institution.

Employment Experience

Minimum of 8 years in a technical pre-sales role in security, especially in the public sector.

Practical experience and certifications from leading enterprise security vendors such as Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, McAfee, Symantec, Trend Micro, Splunk, IBM Security, and CyberArk are required.
