The Singapore Heart Foundation is seeking a dedicated leader to drive community and school outreach initiatives focused on promoting heart health. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and managing outreach programmes to educate diverse audiences about cardiovascular health. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in public health or social services, with a strong track record in community engagement and budget management.
You will collaborate closely with the Director and Management Team to lead efforts in promoting heart health through community & school outreach.
Formulate and execute strategic plans to advance the Singapore Heart Foundation's mission, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and priorities in promoting heart health and reducing cardiovascular disease.
Lead Community and School Outreach - Manage the design, execution, and evaluation of outreach programmes to educate diverse audiences on cardiovascular health, ensuring effective delivery of public education initiatives.
Oversee the planning and implementation of signature events and awareness campaigns, ensuring alignment with the Foundation’s objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Provide leadership to the School & Community team, fostering a collaborative environment, guiding professional development, and ensuring high performance.
Develop, monitor, and manage budgets for outreach and engagement programmes, optimising resources to maximise impact and ensure financial accountability.
Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness, providing data-driven insights and reports to improve performance and inform strategic decisions.
Assist in identifying opportunities for expansion of outreach efforts, innovative programme development, and securing funding to strengthen the Foundation’s impact.
Work closely with other departments to ensure cohesive and effective delivery of heart health messaging and initiatives.
Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in strategic planning, community outreach, or programme management within the public health, or social service sectors.
Proven track record of leading teams and managing budgets effectively.
Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including schools, corporate/community partners, and government agencies.
Possesses strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative approaches to outreach and engagement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Prior experience organising large-scale events or awareness campaigns is an advantage.
