A leading company in the e-commerce sector is seeking an E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across online sales channels, including Shopify and major platforms like Amazon. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing e-commerce operations, with a focus on optimizing performance and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective team collaboration and data-driven strategies.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven E-commerce Operations Manager to lead the daily operations across our online sales channels, including our Shopify website, and third-party platform (e.g., Amazon, Shopee, Lazada). You will oversee product listings, inventory, fulfillment, customer service, and performance analysis to drive growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in managing Shopify, Amazon and regional platforms like Lazada or Shopee, with a data-driven and strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
• Store Management:
Manage all aspects of the stores including product listing creation, optimization, and maintenance. Ensure product descriptions, titles, and keywords are optimized for search visibility and sales conversion.
• Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
Coordinate with the supply chain to maintain optimal inventory levels across FBA, 3PL, and local warehouses. Manage inbound shipments, order processing, and stock replenishment across multiple platforms.
• Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Track and analyze sales data, conversion rates, advertising ROI, and other key KPIs across channels. Generate actionable insights to optimize listings, pricing, and promotional effectiveness.
• Customer Service Management:
Supervise customer service teams to ensure timely responses, professional issue resolution, and a positive brand image across all touch points. Monitor reviews and feedback to guide product improvements and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Advertising & Marketing:
Coordinate with the digital marketing team to drive both on-site and off-site traffic, including Amazon PPC, Google Ads, Meta Ads, influencer collaborations, and email marketing. Plan and execute campaigns, promotions, and seasonal strategies to maximize revenue and visibility.
• Compliance & Policies:
Stay up to date with platform policies and ensure store compliance to prevent account issues or suspensions. Implement SOPs for operational consistency and platform best practices.
• Team Collaboration:
Work closely with product, marketing, logistics, and design teams to align e-commerce operations with overall business goals. Provide data-backed recommendations for product development, pricing strategy, and bundling.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of e-commerce operations experience, preferably across Amazon, Shopify, and regional platforms.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, and marketplace platforms. Strong Excel and reporting skills; experience with advertising dashboards, SEO, and listing tools.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage external and internal stakeholders effectively.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail in managing listings, campaigns, and inventory to ensure operational excellence.
Other Preferred Requirements:
• Deep understanding of inventory planning, demand forecasting, and SKU lifecycle management.
• Experienced in multi-region stores management (e.g., US, Japan, EU)..
• Excellent data interpretation skills, able to identify problems from data and provide solutions.
• Experienced on improving listings, especially on main images and A+
• Has expertise on onsite and offsite traffic acquisition, in addition to advertising and promotions
• Familiar with Amazon Strategic Account Services (optional).
