about the role

We are seeking a highly accomplished Investment Professional to spearhead our investment and divestment initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of the entire transaction lifecycle, from initial strategic assessment through to successful completion. Your responsibilities will encompass leading critical negotiations of transaction documents and meticulously driving the due diligence process. A cornerstone of your success will be your ability to leverage sophisticated financial modeling skills to provide incisive analyses and well-reasoned recommendations to senior management. This position offers a unique platform to apply your deep financial acumen and strategic insights to high-stakes opportunities, directly influencing the organization's growth trajectory.

skills and experience needed

The ideal candidate will possess about 10 years of significant experience within top-tier financial services. This experience should include a strong foundation gained from either a "Big 4" accounting firm (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC) with a focus on Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, or Valuations, or within a bulge-bracket investment bank, where you gained exposure to deal execution and financial analysis. Following this foundational experience, you will have further developed your expertise through direct involvement in making and managing investments within a Private Equity firm or an Investment Fund. A critical requirement for this role is demonstrated expertise in leading the negotiation of complex transaction documents and the comprehensive due diligence process. Furthermore, you must possess exceptional financial modeling skills, capable of building sophisticated models and extracting meaningful insights. Proficiency in advanced Excel functionalities, including VBA and macro creation, is advantageous, alongside a strong command of Word and PowerPoint. The role may involve occasional travel.
