An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee project timelines and budgets within the machinery sector. This role involves generating accurate quotations, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring quality inspections on outgoing products. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering and have at least 3 years of relevant experience. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generate quotation based on the internal costing from various departments.
Perform consolidation of sales costing and forecast.
Collaborate with respective departments to ensure the project timeline and budget adhere and design requirements are specified and delivered.
Attend to any pre-sales visit and liaise with customers for any technical discussion.
To manage and ensure project costs are within budget, pre-BOM and post-BOM consolidation.
Plan and monitor project progress, coordinate activities, and resolve problems
Update project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and recommending actions.
To perform final quality inspections (QA/QC) on all outgoing products before crating for shipment.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
At least 3 years experience in project management, preferably in the machinery or manufacturing industry
Able to liaise with Chinese stakeholder.
Committed and self-motivated, a life-learner and good team player, able to work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment
Analytical minded with strong organisational skills and acute time management skills.
