Job description

We are seeking an experienced System Analyst with a strong background in IT for the manufacturing sector. This role involves supporting the IT project pipeline management and ensuring the fulfillment of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for converting business requirements into technical solutions, assisting in project planning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the senior manager in managing the IT project pipeline, ensuring alignment with priority, difficulty, and availability criteria for efficient SDLC fulfillment.
2. Review IT project and change requests, maintain the IT project master list, and provide regular updates on project progress and status.
3. Assign reference numbers to IT requests, review business process flow changes, perform initial risk assessments, evaluate dependencies, and collaborate with requestors and the DevOps team to mitigate risks.
4. Support the support team in identifying new error types, transferring knowledge, and developing SOPs for handling common issues in MES solutions.
5. Translate customer and internal business requirements into functional specifications and assist in developing solutions related to manufacturing and business systems.
6. Report progress on IT projects and change management to stakeholders, contribute to IT solutioning, and assist with backup system development.
7. Conduct system gap and dependency analysis, assist with SIT, and coordinate UAT with business owners to ensure quality of IT deliverables.
8. Collaborate with IT teams across SAP, B2B, GSCM, and WMS domains for issue analysis, testing, and liaison between business and technical teams.
9. Work with support and development teams to identify root causes of issues and implement bug fixes.

Requirements:

1. 1 to 3 years of experience in gathering user requirements, analysis, drafting specifications, and implementing IT systems, especially in manufacturing.
2. Strong communication and analytical skills.
3. Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
4. Proficiency in C#, VB.NET, or similar languages, with solid project management understanding.
5. Experience in manufacturing IT systems is highly preferred.
6. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and manage multiple projects.
7. Availability for overtime support during weekends (remote work with rotating schedule).

Additional Skills (Good to Have):

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems.
• Familiarity with SAP, B2B, GSCM, WMS, and similar systems.
