Job description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible full sets of accounting functions of assigned Singapore entities
  • Responsible for full general ledger functions
  • Responsible for inter-company reconciliation, bank reconciliations and other balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Perform and provide the analysis and interpretation of financial results/performance.
  • Prepare company financial statements and management reports
  • Responsible for annual budgets and monthly financial forecasts, monitor actual performance against budget and report variances
  • Responsible for cash flow forecast
  • Liaise with external parties and auditors for yearly audit and to provide all required schedules or reports for audit and tax purpose.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, corporate tax, GST, statutory and legislative requirements.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum a Degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role in leading a small team.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Meticulous and strong in critical thinking.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
