Job description

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Assistant / Operations Manager is responsible for all Warehouse & Logistics matters.

Main responsibilities:

  1. Manage and lead functional teams (Inventory / Picking / Packing / Admin / Distribution) staffs in the department.
  2. Execute and manage daily operations including manpower schedule planning and disciplinary matters.
  3. Resolve daily operational issues including implementing effective short/long term measures (SOPs/System) to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
  4. Implement / Review / Enforce Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Safe Work Procedures (SWP) at work areas. Identify and Conduct / Review WSH Risk Assessment (RA) as and when required.
  5. Maintain best practice operating standards and adhere to Food Safety systems (e.g. HACCP/ISO/HALAL) implemented by the company.
  6. Continuously review, plan, evaluate, the work activities, method simplification/KPI and throughput efficiencies.
  7. Other assignments may be required by Head of Operations.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma in any related discipline
  2. Min. 5 years operational experience, preferably in Logistics/F&B industry
  3. Possess positive attitude and initiative
  4. Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  5. Able to be hands-on when the need arises
  6. Ability to work well as a team
  7. Possess good communication skills – both written and verba
