Job description

Our client is a world-renowned international civil main contractor specialising in foundation works, geotechnical and soil technology, with a strong civil engineering presence in Singapore. They are looking for a Tender Manager to lead the full tendering process.

Job Description:

1. Leading the full tendering process and formulating bid strategies based on project requirements, stakeholder input, and market positioning.
2. Evaluating and making decisions on tender risks; proposing competitive pricing strategies and cost estimations.
3. Providing technical support on pile or load tests when required.
4. Ensuring all tender documents and submissions are prepared according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
5. Ensuring accurate compilation of all tender documents (contracts, clarifications, and records).
6. Recommending enhancements to the tender process.
7. Identifying business risks and opportunities.
8. Managing stakeholder relationships.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (minimum).
• At least 10 years of foundation experience with strong knowledge of foundation works.
• At least 5 years of tendering and bid management experience in Singapore.
• Familiarity with the local tendering process and government procurement codes.
• Proven track record of successfully securing large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
