A leading company in logistics is seeking an organized individual to manage inventory operations. Responsibilities include maintaining records, processing deliveries, and operating heavy machinery. Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain records of inventories
Update logs and documentation for inventory processing
Move inventory and materials across facilities
Sort, label, organize and store inventory in the proper location
Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
Process inventory for delivery
Scan delivered items and ensure quality
Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper location
Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations or other locations
Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory
High school degree or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or relevant field
License or certification as dictated by the state to operate heavy machinery as needed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with inventory software, and able to upload data into the company system
Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of inventory
Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
