Job description

Fund Administration – Assistant Manager – (PE/VC)

Our client is a successful mid-sized venture capital firm based in Singapore and is seeking an experienced Fund Administrator.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  1. Involved in BAU fund administrative activities, including fund reporting and analysis.
  2. Coordinate the preparation of capital call notices and manage distribution processes by forecasting cash flow requirements, ensuring compliance with LPA and IFRS standards.
  3. Deliver key insights to management and Limited Partners (LPs) while supporting ongoing LP communications to ensure timely and accurate information delivery.
  4. Keep track of portfolio company compliance, offer support as needed, and work with teams and service providers to handle financial due diligence for new investments.
  5. Lead initiatives to improve financial processes, such as journal entries and reconciliations, while coordinating with tax advisors for timely and accurate tax filings.
  6. Facilitate new fund launches by coordinating with relevant stakeholders on legal and onboarding processes.

To be eligible for this role, you will require:

  1. A degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent. A qualified CA/CPA is a plus.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Fund Administration, preferably in Private Equity or Venture Capital.
  3. Ability to multitask, work independently in a team environment, and meet deadlines.
  4. Strong interpersonal, communication, and influential skills to engage with senior stakeholders effectively.
