A leading company is seeking a responsible Building Manager to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of their facility and Central Kitchen equipment. This role involves managing building operations, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in facility management, strong leadership skills, and knowledge of building systems.
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Building Manager to oversee the smooth operation, maintenance, and safety of our company-owned building and Central Kitchen equipment Maintenance. This role ensures that the facility remains secure, well-maintained, and fully functional to support daily business operations.
Manage all aspects of building operations, including building maintenance, central kitchen equipment maintenance, security, cleaning, and utilities.
Conduct daily inspections of the building and surrounding premises to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality.
Coordinate and supervise the work of support staff (cleaners, security guards, technicians, etc.).
Liaise with vendors and contractors for repairs, servicing, and building improvement projects.
Monitor and manage facility budgets, utility consumption and service contracts.
Handle emergency situations such as equipment breakdowns, power failures, or safety hazards promptly and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Maintain building logs, maintenance records, incident reports, and inventory of equipment/supplies.
Oversee access control, security systems, parking areas, and building signage.
Work closely with internal departments to ensure workplace needs are met (e.g., workstation moves, meeting room setup, etc.).
Proven experience as a Building Manager or Facilities Supervisor, preferably in a corporate setting.
Sound knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, access control, etc.).
Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
Proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and coordination skills.
Familiar with building maintenance regulations, safety standards, and compliance.
Working knowledge of MS Office
Diploma/Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in facility/building management.
Certifications in fire safety, electrical safety, or HVAC are a plus.
