Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts to ensure clear articulation of business requirements and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT to gather, analyze, and document business processes, workflows, and requirements.
- Drive gap analysis, test planning, deployment planning, and ensure IT solutions meet business objectives.
- Oversee functional, SIT, UAT to ensure quality delivery.
- Support testing activities by developing test scenarios, coordinating UAT and validating that solutions meet business and compliance requirements
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee quality inspections, audits, and testing (including SIT, UAT, penetration tests) to ensure compliance with government regulations and cybersecurity standards.
- Manage vendor and developer assessments to ensure deliverables meet standards and user requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather insights and align project goals with business strategy.
- Translate complex business needs into detailed technical specifications and user stories for development teams.
- Monitor project progress, communicate risks, and provide status updates to senior management.
- Promote best practices in business analysis and Agile methodologies within the team.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Information Technology or related fields.
- At least 8 years of business analysis experience, with a minimum of 3 years in leading roles supporting government or public sector projects.
- Proven track record in managing complex government IT projects.
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality management within IT or government projects, including developing and implementing QA framework.
- Strong knowledge of government digital transformation initiatives, data security standards, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with government stakeholders and understanding of public sector procurement and governance processes.
- Proficiency in creating detailed business requirement documents, process flows, and user stories tailored for government projects.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as AWS or Jira.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging senior government officials and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
