Job description

Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for preparing a complete piping design, layout, and a clash-free 3D model for all Piping, Tubing, and Mechanical Equipment within the FPSO scope of work.
• Handle issues related to piping design deliverables, project planning, budget, and quality, with follow-up during the Construction phase.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards during construction activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and identify potential issues.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team to optimize workflow and efficiency.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks and ensure timely delivery.
• Review all work such as piping layout, 3D model, MTO, BQ, and other deliverables for compliance with project standards, applicable codes, contract requirements, quality standards, and accepted engineering and construction practices.
• Plan and organize piping engineering activities and manpower requirements.
• Prepare department procedures, manuals, guides, training materials, and conduct training.
• Provide field engineering support and advice for piping installation and testing at the site.

Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in piping design, including detailed design, stress evaluation, production work, 3D model review, material specification, and construction engineering support.
• Interpretation of stress and vibration analysis reports.
• Basic knowledge of 3D model review using Navisworks or similar software.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts in piping calculations, such as exponents, logarithms, trigonometric functions, quadratic equations, and other formulas.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
