Job summary

Chevron Singapore Pte Ltd invites applications for an E&I Technician on Jurong Island, Singapore. You will perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and process instrumentation, troubleshoot and commission systems, and ensure safe operations in a refinery or related environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Nitec in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering, with 2–5 years of relevant experience, and demonstrates strong analytical and teamwork abilities, plus willingness to

Qualifications

Diploma or Higher/Nitec in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
2–5 years of relevant experience in refinery, petrochemical, chemicals additive or pharmaceutical industries.
Hands-on experience with hi-tech electrical and process instrumentation; knowledge of PLC and analyzers is advantageous.
Good understanding of safe work practices.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

Carry out preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and process instruments according to procedures and schedules.
Troubleshoot, repair, install, calibrate and commission electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Understand and work with electrical & instrumentation equipment, analyser sample systems; perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
Develop and review job safety risk analyses and maintenance procedures.
Document and maintain field observations and activities.
Be prepared to perform call-out duties or 12-hour day shifts when required.
