About the role:
- Experience with electrical systems such as schematic, SLD, Layout, Control wiring drawing of MCC, DB lighting boards, soft starters / drives, earthing and lighting layouts.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on plant-wide electrical and instrumentation systems. Installation, Configuration, calibration and troubleshooting of PT, DPT, LT, TT and Mass flow meter.
- Hands on experience in BMS with HVAC, MV and LV Electrical systems.
- Conduct of inspection, testing and repair of commissioning equipment on Instrument system, control and component under the maintenance team.
- Condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of critical instruments and take corrective actions to avoid breakdown.
- Having good knowledge in megger test, PI test and gas detectors.
- Timely close all work orders assigned by supervisor in CMMS.
- Knowledge in creating risk assessment for non-routine jobs.
- Follow Instrument maintenance work planning and scheduling including procedures.
- Ensures quality of work within the set time frame, record and report.
- Ability to work on remove and reinstall units, configuring, calibrating and maintaining control, measurement and indicating instrumentation (Pneumatic, analog and digital)
- Coordinate and liaise with contractors in supervision of statutory equipment inspection and testing at site.
- Always follow and make sure plant safety rules and regulations.
- Participate in monthly safety committee meetings.
- Conduct routine 5S at maintenance workshop, store, substations and work area at site.
- Reporting to the supervisor on daily work activity.
- Other duties as assigned.

About you:
- Diploma in Control & Instrumentation or equivalent is an advantage.
- At least 5 years of previous experience of working in electrical and instrumentation in Chemical Process or Treatment Plant Industry.
- Experience in DCS and programmable logic controls is an advantage.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good working knowledge in Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Experience in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is an advantage.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays and respond to callouts on a non-routine basis

- Work location: Tuas (company transport provided)
- Work hours: 5.5 days (Alternate Saturday)
