Our client, a Japanese company specializing in water solutions, is seeking an E&I Engineer to join their team.

Reporting to: Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

1. Ensure E&I technical and performance meet the project specification, budget, and stakeholders' expectations.
2. Liaise with all stakeholders for technical reviews and clarifications.
3. Ascertain all E&I engineering deliverables.
4. Oversee E&I change orders and meet the delivery lead time and stakeholder expectation.
5. Implement the technical specifications to the project deliverables.
6. Manage all E&I vendors and review vendors’ quotations.
7. Conduct FAT/SAT and equipment troubleshooting.
8. Prepare instrument data sheets and instrument list.
9. Coordinate E&I design with other engineering disciplines.
10. Perform E&I engineering designs, calculations, and preparing bills of materials.
11. Design all E&I panels based on national and international standards and/or project specifications.
12. Identify E&I equipment and components to procure.
13. Oversee the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
14. Perform any other duties commensurate with the role.

• Basic Salary: S$4,000 - S$6,500
• Variable Bonus (Depends on Company and Individual performance)

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or similar.
• At least 3 years of E&I Engineering experience in water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, cable gland sizing, and cable scheduling.
• Knowledge of basic electrical starters and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) design.
• Expertise in selecting and sizing overcurrent protection devices.
• Hands-on experience with electrical equipment and instrumentation installation.
• Skilled in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel overseas on short notice (Around 4-5 times a year).

• Ability to join within 1 month or sooner.
