A social commerce platform located in Singapore is seeking an E-commerce Operations Executive to manage order processing and inventory tracking. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and offers full-time employment with a temporary contract option. Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in Marathi are crucial. Job description

    As an E-commerce Operations Executive at Umed Mart, located in Belapur, you will be an integral part of the E-commerce Operations department, reporting directly to the CEO. Umed Mart is a social commerce platform initiated by Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM) with a vision to empower Self-Help Groups (SHGs) by enabling them to showcase and sell locally crafted goods. By bridging rural entrepreneurship with digital commerce, we strive to create sustainable livelihood opportunities and enhance market access for SHG members.Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing Order & Gifting Operations, which involves managing daily order processing, packing, and dispatch, especially for bulk/corporate gifting purposes. You will be tasked with monitoring and updating order statuses across various platforms, ensuring timely deliveries, and efficiently handling return/replacement cases.Additionally, you will be involved in Vendor & SHG Management, where you will coordinate with SHG women and artisans to track order statuses, dispatch schedules, and packaging quality. Providing training and support in simple terms, preferably in Marathi, when necessary. You will also be responsible for verifying and cross-checking invoices against dispatched and delivered orders.Maintaining real-time Inventory & Stock Tracking records for gifting and regular products will be another crucial aspect of your role. Conducting periodic stock audits, identifying and addressing any discrepancies, and aligning inventory data with platform availability to ensure seamless order fulfillment.Your duties will also include meticulous Reporting & Documentation, where you will be required to maintain accurate logs of orders and dispatches, inventory movement, as well as vendor and SHG interactions.To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business, with a basic understanding of accounting and finance. While 1-3 years of experience in e-commerce operations is preferred, freshers can also apply. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, along with a strong command of Marathi (spoken) and basic knowledge of English and Hindi, will be advantageous.The ideal candidate will exhibit strong interpersonal and coordination skills, be detail-oriented, proactive, and accountable. Being able to multitask effectively under tight timelines will also be beneficial.This is a Full-time position, open to Freshers as well, with a Contractual / Temporary employment option for a duration of 10 months. The work schedule will be during the Day shift from Monday to Friday, at the designated in-person work location.As part of the application process, please note that you will be required to use your own laptop for work.
