Job description

We are seeking a commercially driven Director of E-Commerce to lead the growth and performance of our online business across key platforms including Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop, Amazon, and our owned site SharkNinja.sg. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing the digital commerce strategy, driving channel profitability, managing cross-functional teams, and accelerating consumer conversion across multiple platforms in Singapore & Malaysia.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you will get to do:

  • Own and drive the e-commerce P&L across all marketplaces (Lazada, Shopee, TikTok, amazon) and DTC (SharkNinja.com)
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and sales performance tracking
  • Accountable for Joint Business Planning and annual plan development & execution with e-tailers.
  • Optimize assortment, pricing, content, and promotions tailored to each platform
  • Ensure seamless execution of campaigns and promotional calendars in partnership with platform teams
  • Define and execute high-converting product content strategies
  • Work closely with creative and trade marketing teams to align on look, feel, and messaging
  • Continuously improve UX/UI, navigation, PDP quality, and mobile optimization on SharkNinja.com and platforms in conjunction with the marketing teams.
  • Partner with supply chain, 3PLs, and customer service teams to ensure excellent fulfilment, SLAs, and returns management
  • Drive efficiency in inventory planning and channel allocation
  • Manage internal stakeholders including marketing, product, finance, and operations teams
  • Leverage data to inform decision-making and identify growth levers
  • Stay abreast of digital trends, emerging platforms, and AI tools to drive innovation

Responsibilities

The E-Commerce Director will be responsible for leading, guiding, and developing the Key Account Managers across platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, Amazon, and TikTok. Expectations include:

  • Setting clear commercial targets and KPIs (revenue, margin, traffic, campaign ROI) for each KAM aligned to channel strategy
  • Providing strategic direction for joint business planning, campaign execution, and commercial negotiations with platform partners
  • Ensuring strong internal coordination between KAMs and cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to drive execution excellence
  • Reviewing account performance regularly, identifying gaps, and driving corrective actions to optimise channel health
  • Coaching and upskilling KAMs to elevate negotiation capabilities, platform expertise, and data-driven decision-making
  • Fostering a performance-driven culture while ensuring alignment with brand and business priorities

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Highly motivated individual with over 10 years of experience, of which 6-8 years of eCommerce specific experience in building and driving eCommerce businesses, at least 4-5 years in managerial role.
  • Strong proven track record of launching and optimizing shops with merchandising experience on all ecommerce channels – brand.com, pure players, retailer.com. Social commerce a plus
  • Regional Ecommerce management experience, with regional digital marketing & media and CRM experience preferred.
  • Strong collaborating skills, vendor, and stakeholder management
  • Strong project management skill demonstrated via key regional ecommerce campaign launch and management – e.g. ecommerce mega campaign
  • Local Digital & Ecommerce experience preferred –with good understanding of local digital & ecommerce key players and tech ecosystem
