Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking a Technical Consultant to implement and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with focus on Finance, Supply Chain and Projects. You will gather requirements via workshops, configure modules, and prepare detailed documentation for integrations and data mappings.

The role involves working with technical teams on extensions, testing, and post-implementation support, along with user training and project planning contributions.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV
• Solid understanding of finance, supply chain, and/or project accounting processes
• Ability to translate business needs into clear functional specifications and documentation
• Exposure to integrations, APIs, and related platforms such as Power Platform, ServiceNow, or CRM systems
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements through stakeholder workshops
• Configure Business Central modules including Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Jobs, and Fixed Assets
• Prepare process flows, functional documentation, data mappings, and integration requirements
• Support extensions, customisations, and system integrations with technical teams
• Deliver user training, documentation, and UAT support
• Resolve system issues and provide post-implementation support
• Recommend best practices and process improvements using standard functionality
• Contribute to project planning, effort estimation, and progress reporting
