Job summary

First Konnection Pte. Ltd. is recruiting full-time tuition teachers for an established education group with multiple centres across Singapore.

You’ll teach at either Primary or Secondary level, based on your strongest subject knowledge and teaching capability. Prepare and deliver lessons, familiarise yourself with the curriculum and teaching materials provided, and encourage student participation while maintaining an effective learning environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in at least 1 listed subject.
• Able to teach confidently at either Primary or Secondary level.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Comfortable communicating with students and parents.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.
• Experienced applicants should ideally have at least 3 years of relevant teaching experience.
• Familiarity with the Singapore Ministry of Education curriculum is an advantage.
• Fresh university graduates with strong subject knowledge and a genuine interest in teaching are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to commit to the stated working schedule and centre deployment arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver clear and engaging lessons
• Familiarise yourself with the curriculum and teaching materials provided
• Encourage student participation and maintain an effective learning environment
• Mark students’ work and monitor their academic progress
• Provide parents with clear and constructive feedback
• Conduct regular classes and occasional relief classes
• Participate in training and curriculum development when required
• Support trial classes, webinars, talks and other education related events
