Job summary

CAREER TREND PTE. LTD. is seeking a Structural/Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying graduate with tender and estimating experience to join our construction team in Singapore.

You will undertake tender estimation, quantity take-off, cost planning, subcontracting, variation orders and final accounts with clients. The role requires ability to read drawings, strong estimating knowledge and the capacity to manage multiple projects under pressure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in Tender and Estimating Works.
• Able to read and understand Drawings well.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in estimating construction projects.
• Knowledge of Structural Steel works will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Standard Conditions of Contracts and Sub-contracts.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office software in Excel and Word.
• With good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Can work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Tender estimation and costing.
• Quantity take-off, estimation, cost planning, subcontracting, Variation Orders and Final Accounts with Clients.
• To review progress of all on-going projects and preparation of monthly progress claim submissions to Clients; as well as evaluates and prepare Subcontractors’ claims.
• Undertaking duties/assignments as and when appropriately assigned by the HOD/Superior.
