Job summary

The Singapore Institute of Management in Singapore, in partnership with the University at Buffalo, invites applications for Academic Instructor to teach UB undergraduate courses. You will design syllabi, deliver student-centered instruction, supervise projects, and assess learning outcomes according to UB objectives.

Requirements include a Ph.D. or Master’s in the exact discipline, a record of teaching at the tertiary level, proficiency with Blackboard Grade Center, and a demonstrated research

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in the exact discipline as specified by the teaching assignment from a nationally or regionally (USA) accredited university.
• Terminal degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create course design and materials, and implement syllabus to meet UB learning objectives.
• Deliver student-centered, interactive course curriculum, including supervision of project work.
• Create, administer, and mark assessment instruments.
• Evaluate student progress and achievements.
• Hold regular consultation hours.
• Maintain and submit academic records.
