Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant professional teaching experience.
• Bachelor degree in Education or Physical Education from a recognised university or college.
• Teachers Certificates, Diplomas or other Teacher Accreditation courses if degree is not in Education.
• IB PYP course and training are highly valued.
• Knowledge of or willingness to acquire knowledge of inquiry-based learning.
• Applicants must provide original certificates and transcripts for authentication.
• International experience, especially in Asia, is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Physical Education curriculum to assigned classes as per timetable.
• Differentiate lessons according to students' abilities and learning needs.
• Promote independent learning by adopting strategies that build competence and confidence.
• Ensure thorough implementation of subject specs, teaching schemes, assessment policies and reporting.
• Assess and develop the Physical Education curriculum in the school.
• Plan and deliver schemes of work and select appropriate teaching methods.
• Keep up-to-date with developments in Physical Education and adapt content accordingly.
• Identify resources within the school budget and ensure health and safety policies.
