• A good degree in Science or a closely related discipline.
• A recognized teaching qualification or certification is expected.
• Experience teaching Science to 11–18 year olds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute positively to the collaborative culture of the Science department and broader team.
• Design learning experiences that challenge students and support diverse learners.
• Ensure assessments provide timely, relevant feedback to students on formative and summative work.
• Maintain effective classroom management addressing academic, social, and emotional aspects of learning.
• Communicate with parents about student progress and learning.
