Job summary

Yellow Ribbon is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician based in Singapore to respond to emergency calls and provide immediate medical care at accident scenes. The role involves assessing patients, performing life-saving procedures, and coordinating transfers with hospital staff.

The successful candidate will maintain EMS equipment, document patient care reports, and adhere to medical protocols and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate medical assistance to patients at accident or emergency scenes.
• Assess patients' medical conditions, monitor vital signs and provide appropriate pre-hospital care.
• Perform basic life-saving procedures, including CPR, AED operation, wound care and patient stabilisation.
• Assist in the safe handling, lifting and transportation of patients using ambulance equipment.
• Coordinate with ambulance crew members, hospitals and relevant medical personnel to ensure proper patient transfer.
• Maintain ambulance medical equipment, supplies and ensure readiness for emergency operations.
• Prepare accurate patient care reports and maintain proper medical records.
• Follow established medical protocols, safety procedures and infection control requirements.
