Job summary

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of secondary teaching experience, strong knowledge of Cambridge IGCSE and GCE O-level, and a relevant degree. Teaching certification is an advantage, with a collaborative, flexible approach and commitment to ongoing

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years teaching Art and Design in secondary school.
• Knowledge of Secondary curriculum, Cambridge IGCSE and GCE O-level.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art & Design, Education or related field.
• Teaching certificate is an advantage.
• Good classroom management.
• Team-player, flexible, and able to multi-task.
• Passionate about professional development.

Responsibilities

• Organise and deliver the subject(s) curriculum and programmes
• Plan lessons and prepare learning materials and resources
• Provide a positive learning environment
• Ensure students’ well-being and safety
• Engage parents for feedback on students’ progress and gaps
• Monitor and document students’ learning progress and gaps
• Homeroom Teacher or Co-Homeroom Teacher
• ECA/CCA and student support
• Any other duties as assigned by the principal and management
