Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Hotel
  • Position Title: Duty Manager / Senior Duty Manager
  • Working Location: City Hall
  • Working Hours: Shift Work
  • Salary Package: Salary up to $4,000
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, and plan and assign work in accordance with Front Office needs to ensure efficient hotel operations.
  • Provide supervision, training, motivation, and coaching to Front Desk staff.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination of daily operations among all departments, staff, and managers.
  • Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective actions are implemented to resolve their concerns.
  • Maintain an accurate record in the Duty Manager's logbook of items and incidents of concern for management or the Front Office Manager, especially for emergencies.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

  • Ability to perform shift duties, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Well-groomed with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
