Job summary

A leading professional services firm in Singapore is seeking a Manager for their Global Employer Services. The role involves overseeing client engagements and tax compliance, managing relationships, and developing team members. Candidates should possess a relevant Bachelor’s degree, at least 8 years of experience in individual tax, and proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Strong organizational skills and team leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of working experience in SG Individual/Personal Income Tax.
  • Prior experience in managing junior team members/leading a team.

Responsibilities

Work you’ll do

  • Lead and oversee client engagements, including compliance seasons planning, managing tax compliance deliverables, ensuring timely delivery of services in accordance with agreed service levels and client expectations.
  • Manage client relationships as the primary point of contact for tax-related queries, proactively addressing concerns and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Assist with review and improve internal processes to enhance client service efficiency and technical accuracy.
  • Keep abreast with the latest employment related regulatory development, ensuring all work complies with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to foster professional growth and maintain a motivated, high-performing engagement team, including assisting with conducting training sessions as part of these responsibilities.
  • Assist in managing the financial performance of the engagement, including timely billing.

Requirements

  • Possess Bachelor’s Degree in related disciplines such as Accounting/Finance or Professional Qualification (ICAEW/ACCA/MIA/MICPA).
  • Mininum 8 years of working experience in SG Individual/Personal Income Tax.
  • Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Possess good organizational skills and able to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
  • Possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Prior experience in managing junior team members/leading a team.
