Work you’ll do

As the DevOps Engineer, you will be involved in many aspects of a Cloud Engineering Team; from collaboration with other team members and customers to determine the best solution for a particular engagement to the design, development, and delivery of software products.

You will develop and implement the following:

• Cloud design and implementation using Microsoft Azure
• Build & Script automation, build & release, pipeline
• Assisting with environmental configuration, automated deployment, and testing
• Assisting in implementation of automatically creating environments in the cloud
• Assisting in implementation of end-to-end governance of software deployment

Provide operational support for:

• Being part of the on-call coverage for operational support

Key Responsibilities

• Working in IAAS and PAAS Azure
• Configuring Azure resources with App Service Plan, Storage Account, KeyVault, Virtual Machine
• Understanding database technologies (Cosmos DB / Azure SQL / MongoDB)
• Instrumentation, monitoring, and alerting
• Performing technical deep dives into application design and root cause analysis
• Designing and configuring high availability for web applications
• Building relationships across teams
• Performing technical deep dives into infrastructure, databases, and applications, specifically in designing, coding, operating, and supporting high-performance, highly available services and infrastructure

Requirements

• 3+ years of DevOps Engineer experience
• OS expertise (at least one): Windows Admins or Linux Admin
• Good to have exposure to administering Azure Kubernetes Service
• Automation skills (at least one): PowerShell, Yaml, Bash
• Experience with deployment tools (at least one): VSTS DevOps, Terraform, Git
• Capable of working on web technologies IIS/web application works
• Understanding of database technologies
• Understanding of instrumentation, monitoring, and alerting
• Capable of performing technical deep dives into application design and root cause analysis
• Understanding of designing and configuring high availability for web applications
• Exposure to operating and supporting mission-critical applications (e.g., incident and outage management)
• Good to have BICEP experience

Education & Certifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• Azure certifications preferred
