Job summary

ABER CARE PTE. LTD. is seeking caregivers to assist seniors with boarding/alighting from buses, operate wheelchair lifts, and provide compassionate transport services in Singapore.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety on every journey, escorting clients to residences and appointments, assisting at medical visits, providing companionship, and coordinating with the operations team to deliver timely, reliable transport experiences.

Qualifications

• Assist with boarding/alighting and mobility equipment.

• Assist seniors at medical appointments incl. registration and medication collection.
• Provide companionship and assist with wheelchair mobility.

• Coordinate tasks with operations for timely services.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure reliable transport.

• Assist clients with boarding and alighting from the vehicle (bus), operating wheelchair lifts and other mobility equipment as required.
• Ensure clients' safety by implementing and adhering to transportation safety procedures before and during every journey.
• Deliver a safe, comfortable, and positive transport experience through courteous and attentive client service.
• Escort clients between the vehicle, their residences, and appointment venues in accordance with service requirements.
• Accompany seniors to and from hospitals or healthcare facilities for medical appointments, including assisting with registration, payment, scheduling follow-up appointments, and collecting prescribed medication from the pharmacy.
• Support seniors during appointments by providing companionship, assisting with wheelchair mobility, and ensuring their comfort while waiting for transport.
• Observe clients' well-being, provide social monitoring, and promptly escalation in accordance with established procedures.
• Coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of service and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure timely and reliable transport services.

• Minimum GCE N level
• Class 3 License with Vocational Licence
• Working Hours: 5 day work week, 8.00am to 5.30pm
