Responsibilities

• Daily vehicle maintenance checks
• Load/ unload packaging materials and equipment
• Ensure packaging materials are weighed and handed over to Logistics
• Drive safely and report incidents on the road
• Provide on-site support for crushing HDDs/tape drives or degaussing
• Assist loading customer goods at customer sites
• Obtain customer signatures with date/time for requests
• Ensure collection matches the collection advice and handle callbacks
• Fill goods collection custody form for GRN follow-up
• Secure loads with straps and meet safety regulations

About the role

Class 4 / 5 Driver cum Warehouse Assistant role involving vehicle operation, warehouse support, and logistics coordination. The position requires safe driving, loading and unloading of goods, on-site support activities, and adherence to safety compliance and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Daily vehicle maintenance checks
• Loading packaging materials, tooling, and equipment to lorry
• Ensure all packaging materials are weighted and hand over to Logistic
• Safe drive and follow all applicable traffic and driving laws, staying aware of and reporting any incidents on the road
• Provide on-site support (e.g. crushing HDDs / tape drives) or degaussing activities
• Assist loading customer goods at customer site
• Ensure obtains customer's signature (included date / times) for customer request form
• Ensure the collection has no discrepancies (matching with the collection advice) and if any call back for confirmation
• Fill in the goods collection custody form and hand over to GRN personnel for follow up action
• Ensure proper fasten straps to secure load and that transportation meets safety compliance and regulations

About you

• Class 4 or Class 5 Singapore driving license with 24 feet lorry experience
• Familiar with Singapore route
• Able to converse in English and Mandarin to liaise with clients
• Warehouse experience advantage
• Physically fit, as carrying of heavy goods is needed
• Positive work attitude, committed and diligent
