Job summary

MEPTECH GROUPS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a materials delivery driver to transport construction materials, tools and equipment between project sites, warehouses and suppliers.

The role requires a valid Class 3 driving license, a secondary education or equivalent, and 1–2 years of driving or materials-handling experience. You should be able to work independently, travel between sites and sometimes extend hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License.
• Minimum secondary education or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant driving, delivery or materials-handling experience preferred.
• Experience in construction or engineering industry will be an advantage.
• Familiar with loading, unloading, transporting and storing construction materials.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling of materials.
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and safe driving practices.
• Responsible, punctual and safety conscious.
• Able to work independently and follow instructions.
• Willing to travel between different project sites and work extended hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to transport construction materials, tools, equipment and goods between project sites, warehouses and suppliers.
• Load, unload and arrange materials safely at worksites and storage areas.
• Check materials against delivery orders and ensure correct quantities are delivered.
• Assist with receiving, sorting, moving and storing construction materials.
• Ensure materials are properly secured during transportation.
• Maintain proper records of deliveries, collections and material movements.
• Conduct basic daily checks of the assigned vehicle and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and proper manual handling practices.
• Maintain good housekeeping at storage and work areas.
• Assist site workers and supervisors with material handling and delivery-related activities.
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of materials from different project locations.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
